I am a collaborative leader, with clarity of purpose. I am confident, fair minded and adaptive to change. In this post I am in the research career field, trained as a PhD supervisor. I am committed to interdisciplinary learning and decolonising the curriculum. I was responsible for bringing together BA Fine Art, BA Digital art and BA Photography in the curriculum transformation 20/21 and In addition, I managed the switch from face to face teaching to online learning during the pandemic. I currently sit on the quality and enhancement committee.

In addition to external examiner for BA (Hons) Photography at the IoP, as chief external examiner, the role involves liaising with and collating information with all the external examiners at the Institute of Photography, inclusive of BA Photography, BA Press and Editorial Photography, BA Marine and Natural History Photography and MA photography.

Freelance photographer and producer 1994-2014
Specialising in portraiture, lifestyle and editorial photography, working with both analogue and digital. Adapting to the requirements of different clients, devised concepts and produced photographic studio and location shoots. Photoshop and colour management, black and white printing, social media and website management. Budgeting, book-keeping, good time-management and organisational skills. 2004-2010 Ran a photographic studio, alongside photographic practice. Regular contributor to a number of UK and international editorial/advertorial magazines and book clients, including The Telegraph magazine, The Sunday Times, Red, Marie Claire, Glamour, Boots, Premiere. Redwood publishing and Anova books, vintage imprint.
