The body of work reconsiders and repositions a\u00a0collection of photographs gathered from local markets in Cochin. Inspired by recent PHD research looking at 18<sup>th<\/sup> Century etiquette guides and how they influenced the deportment posing of seen in early studio photographs, the work focuses on the importance of the deportment gestures seen in the photographs.
